WE ARE BAPTIST

By this we mean that we hold to the historic beliefs and practices, which have prevailed among Baptists since the time of Jesus.  We believe that in every period of time since Christ established his Church during His earthly ministry there have been churches, which were Baptist in faith and practice.  They have not always worn the name Baptist, but they believed and practiced Baptist doctrine, which is and should be none other than Bible doctrine.

We are not Protestants.  Baptists did not come out of the Reformation nor have they ever been a part of the Catholic Church.  In fact, we believe Baptists were here long before the Catholic Church existed.  Read "Who Are The Baptist?" by Curtis Whaley or "The Trail of Blood" by J. We do not believe in a so-called “Universal Invisible Church”.  We believe that the church Jesus established was a local, visible church and this is the only true church that is in existence today.
