About Calvary

Jesus said, "...Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). With this statement Jesus prophesied that His Church would never cease to exist on earth until His return at the end of the age. This promise has been and is still being fulfilled by scriptural Baptists.

We are A Church	Our Mission We believe that the mission of a New Testament Church is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every person, to baptize those that believe, and to teach them that believe, to follow all things found in the scriptures. What We Stand For In a world filled with perplexity, violence and turmoil, Calvary Baptist Church, though small in number, is drawn together by belief in the one true God of the Bible. Inspired by the infallibility of the completed scriptures and uplifted by the Blessed Hope of the literal return of Christ for His own, we steadfastly cling to the belief in the Virgin Birth, the Holy Trinity, the Sovereignty of God, and salvation by Grace through Faith. We believe the primary duty of the church, the visible local assembly of baptized believers, is the Proclamation of the Gospel, and the power of God unto Salvation to all that believe. Our spirit is one of love for one another. Our goal is a life pleasing to our Savior, to be a light in our community, a shelter in the storm of life, and a seat of learning on which our young people can lean.
