MORNING PRAYER FOR A CHILD.
Now I wake and
see the light:
'Tis God who kept me through the night.
To him I lift my voice, and pray
That he would keep me through the day.
If I shouId die before 'tis done,
O God, accept me through thy Son.
EVENING PRAYER FOR A CHILD
Now I lay me down
to sleep;
I pray the Lord my soul to keep;
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
AGUR'S PRAYER.
Remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me; lest I be full and deny thee, and say, "Who is the Lord?" or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of God in vain.
DUTY OF CHILDREN TO THEIR PARENTS.
God hath commanded, saying, "Honor thy Father and thy mother; and he that curseth father or mother, let him die the death."

I
IN the burying place may see
Graves shorter there than I;
From death's arrest no age is free
Young children, too, may die.
My God, may
such an awful sight
Awakening be to me!
O that by early grace I might
For death prepared be!
